Terms of Service

Effective 10 October 2026 · Version 2.1 · Last updated 11 October 2026

Not a government service

TruckerPass is an independent educational study aid for commercial drivers. TruckerPass is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), the US Department of Transportation (DOT), the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA), or any state Department of Motor Vehicles, Department of Public Safety or Department of Licensing. We do not administer any official test and we have no influence over it.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, accessing or using the TruckerPass mobile application or this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Educational purpose — no pass guarantee

TruckerPass helps you prepare for state commercial driver licence knowledge tests and the vehicle inspection portion of the skills test. Our content is aligned with published federal regulations (including 49 CFR Part 383) and state commercial handbooks. However:

3. Claims we make about the product

We try to state only what we can substantiate. Where this site describes typical behaviour in the CDL prep category, it describes publicly observable patterns rather than naming a competitor, and pricing in the category is publicly listed and subject to change. If you believe a statement on this site is inaccurate, tell us at support@truckerpass.app and we will correct or remove it.

4. Subscriptions, billing and refunds

5. Permitted use and intellectual property

We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use TruckerPass for personal, non-commercial study. You agree not to copy, resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer, decompile or systematically scrape the question bank, recitation scripts, rationales or algorithms. The TruckerPass name, mark and content are our property. Federal and state regulations and public handbooks referenced in the app are public-domain government works; our questions, explanations and scripts are original.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TruckerPass and its creators are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the service, including failure to pass an examination, lost wages or travel costs. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Availability and changes

The study experience is designed to work fully offline. Optional online features may be unavailable from time to time. We may update, change or discontinue features, and we may revise these terms — material changes will be announced in the app or on this page with an updated version number.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer protection you have in your country of residence.
